It's a touchy subject. You could say you can only get your feelings hurt as much as you allow yourself to feel. That would mean if I called you "sexy pants", you may find it flirty and amusing and move on with your life, another person could find it extremely offensive because I'm objectifying a intelligent, creative man into a sex toy. Who is wrong? Should one take the risk, knowing that some might get offended, to compliment someone? In the example I gave is kinda on the nose because I used a more "offensive" expression but for some women, the line is much thinner.

Wow, that sucks. RTT had a weird vibe about it, I couldn't adapt. I'm not sure if I can help you with that. I'm still trying to find my way around this place too. I know the mobile version of this site is different than the web version. If you are using the web version, to find people you can try the search box on the top right. You can also try the EP group to try and find familiar faces. As for the profile picture, I'm not sure..that could also be an mobile/web version situation. It's easier to upload pictures from the web version.
